Its a Diary written by Anne. The Diary was gifted by her Dad on her 13th birthday (12 June 1942) and she named it Kitty. It was the time when she and her Family were living in Frankfurt, Germany. As they were Jews, so to protect themselves from Hitler and the Nazi Party’s treatment in Europe during the second world war they have to move to Amsterdam to go hiding and stay safe.
There are many important messages in this book, but the most important message is that all people have the right to live in freedom. Anne’s story shows us that just because people may be a different religion or race, doesn’t mean that they should be treated differently. The terrible treatment of Jewish people during the war has shown this. In her diary she mentions their miserable time during hiding but the attitude which she carried all the time was really unique.
Anne Frank
A strong Character. Anne says in the diary that, she can carry most of her burdens alone. She was often neglected thinking that she was very practical though she took many things lightly. But there was Anne inside who was very sensitive, which came to light after discovering this Diary.
Her Dad , the only survivor from their Family from Nazi's Mistreatment has said in one of the interview that He was never aware that Anne was such a emotional child until he read her diary after she died.
Though Anne was just 13 year old but when you read this book you will feel if any Matured person has written this diary. Even she herself was very confident about her writing skills as she says -
